The beauty, wellness, and health platform Kindlife.in has secured $8 million in its Series A round, which was led by JB-Dooeun TK Fund and MIXI Global Investments. Kalaari Capital and a few angel investors also participated.

Kindlife had previously raised $2.5 million in November 2021 from investors including Titan Capital, Java Capital, Kalaari Capital, and others for startup finance.

The startup stated in a news release that it will be able to forge strong ties between Korea, Japan, and India thanks to this funding. Thousands of beauty artists that follow a content-first strategy and exchange recommendations with one another make up its community, which informs users about the newest K-beauty trends.

Kindlife, a company founded by Manasa Garemella, Vidit Jain, and Radhika Ghai, the co-founder of ShopClues, uses patented AI technology to assist Gen Z customers in finding customized beauty and wellness regimens and goods. Additionally, the portal offers priority access to well-known and in-demand international beauty brands, such as Korean and Japanese companies.

Kindlife hopes to serve India’s rapidly expanding K-beauty market by capitalizing on the K-beauty industry’s surge in popularity, which has been propelled by the Hallyu wave. The company intends to include more than 20 Japanese and Korean beauty brands on its marketplace throughout the current calendar year.

Pioneering businesswoman Radhika Ghai has had a lasting impact on the Indian business scene.
