In Dindigul, Theni, Women Surpass Men as Voters

According to the official voter list released on Monday, there are more women than men voting in the districts of Dindigul and Theni. In Dindigul district, there are 52,894 more women than men who vote overall; in Theni district, however, there are 23,628 more women than men who vote overall.

According to the integrated final electoral roll issued by Collector M.N. Poongodi in front of senior officials and leaders of recognized political parties, there are 18,66,403 voters in the Dindigul district overall.

Out of the total 18,66 lakh voters, there are 2,21 additional voters, 9,06,644 men, and 9,59,538 women. In the Dindigul district, there are seven assembly segments: Palani, Oddanchatram, Athur, Nilakottai, Natham, Dindigul, and Vedasandur.

There are 2,67,716 voters in total in Palani, 2,34,677 in Oddanchatram, 2,89,724 in Athur, 2,44,202 in Nilakottai, 2,84,050 in Natham, 2,77,116 in Dindigul, and 2,68,918 in Vedasandur.

According to the integrated final electoral roll released by Theni Collector R.V. Shajeevana in front of officials and representatives of recognized political parties, there are 11,12,499 voters in the Theni district overall.

There are 5,67,967 women, 5,44,339 males, and 193 other voters out of the 11,12 lakh total voters. Theni district’s four assembly segments are Cumbum, Periyakulam, Bodinayakkanur, and Andipatti.

There are 2,73,789 voters in Andipatti, 2,85,191 in Periyakulam, 2,72,422 in Bodinayakkanur, and 2,81,097 in Cumbum.
