General Body Meeting hosted by FICCI FLO in Bhubaneswar 2023–24

The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) Ladies Organization (FLO) Bhubaneswar, the women’s wing of FICCI, hosted its 2nd General Body Meeting and signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with several organizations to promote women’s empowerment and entrepreneurship. The MoUs were signed with Common Services Centres (CSC), KIIT Technology and Business Incubator (TBI), Bhubaneswar City Knowledge Innovation Cluster (BCKIC), and Sri Sri University.

Key highlights of the event and partnerships include:

FLO Bazaar: A marketplace showcasing products from 22 women entrepreneurs in various sectors, such as handlooms, handicrafts, food products, and home decor.

Panel Discussion: A panel discussion on “Women Empowerment and The Way Ahead” featuring prominent guests, including Shri Amar Pattnaik, MP Rajya Sabha, and National FLO President Smt. Sudha Sivakumar.

MoUs: FLO signed MoUs with partner organizations to provide support, mentorship, and skill development programs for women entrepreneurs.

The MoU with Sri Sri University aims to support a Digital Mentorship platform for women across India, helping them start and grow their businesses.

BCKIC and KIIT TBI joined hands with FLO to establish an ecosystem fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among women. They will offer skill development programs in areas like leadership, technology adoption, and business management.

An MoU with CSC e-Governance Services India Limited focuses on up-skilling and entrepreneurial training programs in fields like agriculture and technology-driven farming techniques tailored for women in Boudh.

The partnerships aim to create an enabling environment for women-led startups and entrepreneurs, enhance their skills, and promote innovation. FICCI FLO continues to work toward fostering women’s empowerment and entrepreneurship at grassroots levels, providing opportunities for women to contribute to socio-economic development.
