50 e-autos Distributed in Eco-Wheels Women’s Initiative to Underprivileged Women

As part of its corporate social responsibility effort, the business will donate 115 e-autos to as many women, benefiting more than 750 people. To empower women who have experienced serious abuse, abandonment, or widowhood, as well as those who are struggling to provide for their children, international firm Herbalife, in collaboration with Shishu Mandir, distributed 50 e-autos as part of the ‘Eco-Wheels Women’s Initiative’.

As part of its corporate social responsibility effort, the corporation will donate 115 e-autos to as many women, benefiting more than 750 people, according to a press release. Ajay Khanna, Managing Director of Herbalife India, gave 50 e-autos to women during an event here on Sunday.

He said, “The ‘Eco-Wheels Women’s Initiative’ seeks to assist underprivileged women by offering chances for economic independence and skill development. The e-auto project benefits resilient women, including single mothers, spouses of alcoholics and abusers, and those living below the poverty line without suitable housing” Shishu Mandir Director Anand C said, “Our e-auto program is a light of hope for marginalized women.”

This initiative ‘Eco-Wheels Women’s Initiative’ is aimed to support women who have struggled with multiple social challenges. In this initiative the women will be provided with e-autos, the training on managing this business efficiently, safety guidelines and basic knowledge about the vehicle. This move will encourage many more women to become self-reliant and confident about themselves in the professional world. Such CSR initiatives help in giving a valuable direction to their professional aspirations encouraging them their entrepreneurial potential.
